Doughboys Pizza

So how do you take two separate tenant spaces, formerly used for offices, and convert them into one awesome restaurant? You call ! That's what the owners of Doughboys Pizza in Waunakee did, and they couldn't be happier with the results. We think you'll be pretty impressed, too. Stop in to check it out -- and have some of the best pizza you can get in the Madison area while you're there!

Plaka Taverna

Remember the old Cleveland's Diner downtown on East Wilson? is responsible for converting this landmark greasy spoon into the elegant and cozy dining spot you see pictured below. Construction involved interior demolition, complete remodeling of the kitchen and dining room, and a gorgeous new custom bar. So Cleveland's Diner is now Plaka Taverna…and the new Greek menu is awesome. For those loyal to the traditional Cleveland’s breakfast, not to worry - Beth and Telly Fatsis will continue to serve it in the mornings. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and check it out!

This design/build project perfectly demonstrates our collaborative approach to the construction process. For this restaurant build-out, our client had a clear vision for her space and very specific ideas about the atmosphere she wanted to achieve. It was our job to work out the details and then make her vision a reality. The result was this modern and upscale dining space. [Side note: Remember the old McDonald’s up on the square? That’s what we had to start with when we began this project. It was quite an adventure turning a greasy, abandoned fast food restaurant into what you see here.]
